Research group
The DAGIS consortium project is led by Principal Investigator (PI) Professor Eva Roos, with partner institutions including the University of Helsinki, led by Professor Maijaliisa Erkkola, and the University of Eastern Finland, led by Professor Nina Sajaniemi. The consortium primarily comprises researchers based at the Folkhälsan Research Center within Carola Ray’s research group, with additional contributing research groups at the University of Helsinki and the University of Eastern Finland. Together, the members bring expertise in public health, nutrition science, physical activity and sedentary behaviour, sleep, epidemiology, sociology, behavioural science, psychology, education, and biostatistics.
The sub-studies are led by designated responsible investigators. Docent Carola Ray serves as co-Principal Investigator (co-PI) for the DAGIS Intervention and DAGIS Salo sub-studies, while Docent Reetta Lehto serves as co-Principal Investigator (co-PI) for the DAGIS Next sub-study.
