Research Group: Neonatal Mitochondrial Diseases
I conduct research on mitochondrial diseases, focusing on Complex III deficiency and its role in disorders such as Gracile syndrome. Using mouse models and cell-based approaches, I study the causes and consequences of global loss of protein O-GlcNAcylation to better understand how it contributes to mitochondrial dysfunction.
