Research Group: Myofin
I completed my master’s thesis in the Wallgren-Pettersson & Pelin group (now part of Myofin) in 2023 after having worked in the group as a research assistant since 2020. My research focuses on understanding the disease-causing mechanisms leading to neuromuscular disorders, with a special interest in changes in energy consumption in the affected muscle. I am part of the Single-fibre Team led by Dr Jenni Laitila, where we utilize single-muscle fibre techniques to shed light on these mechanisms.
