I am a biomedical informatics researcher specializing in machine learning and statistical applications for research in complications of diabetes and precision medicine. My work focuses on identifying vulnerable subgroups of individuals. I study different types of biological information – from genes to proteins and metabolites – to identify biomarkers that can predict disease, and I also conduct clinical research. Ultimately, I aim to bridge the gap between advanced computational methods and their clinical applications to improve patient care and prognosis.
