I conduct research on Active Ageing in the context of senior housing, with a focus on residents experiencing early cognitive decline. My work explores how living environments, daily practices, and staff support shape opportunities for autonomy, participation, and well-being. I am particularly interested in how residents’ personal goals align – or conflict – with the structures and routines of senior housing, and how this influences their engagement in Active Ageing.
