I have a PhD in Cell Biology and joined Folkhälsan Research Center as a post-doc in 2023. In my current research, I aim at understanding the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying mitochondrial disease. By studying these disease mechanisms, I hope to bridge the gap between basic science and patient care.
