Research Group: Companion Animal Disease Models
We investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying genetic diseases, development, and behavior by studying naturally occurring traits in companion animals, especially dogs. Our primary interests are neurological disorders and behavioral phenotypes. We integrate genetics with multi-omics technologies, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, to identify the molecular pathways and regulatory networks that drive these traits.
