I have a background in gerontology and public health. In my PhD research, I study the genetics of muscle strength and how it relates to functional capacity and disease prevention in aging. I am particularly interested in exploring how lifestyle and genetic factors together shape health and well-being in later life. These insights may support earlier identification of at-risk individuals and inform more personalized interventions to maintain health and independence throughout the aging process.
