Research Group: Healthy Aging
I have a background in gerontology and public health. In my PhD research, I examined how genetic factors influence muscle strength and how these biological pathways relate to functional capacity and disease prevention across the aging process. More broadly, I am interested in how lifestyle, environmental, and genetic influences interact to shape healthy aging. My goal is to contribute to earlier identification of individuals at risk for age-related decline and to support the development of more personalized strategies to maintain well-being, independence, and quality of life in later life.
