Title of Docent in Molecular Genetics

Co-PI, Myofin

I have a PhD degree in Molecular genetics and have been working with  genetic muscle disorders at the Folkhälsan Research Center since 2000. I am a Co-PI in the newly formed Myofin group. My goal is to increase the understanding on the genes and mechanisms of hereditary muscle diseases. This information can be used for better diagnostics and for future therapeuthic strategies.
