Research Group: Neonatal Mitochondrial Diseases
My group studies neonatal mitochondrial diseases with focus on GRACILE syndrome, a member of the Finnish disease heritage. We aim to understand the disease mechanisms and develop new therapies, as well as shed light on the role of mitochondria in metabolism and ageing in general.
