I am a postdoctoral researcher and medical doctor studying clinical and lifestyle-related factors associated with healthy aging in people type 1 diabetes. My previous research has focused primarily on early brain aging in type 1 diabetes. Currently, I investigate factors associated with maintaining good functional ability in long-standing type 1 diabetes, with a particular interest in the role of physical activity.
