Research Group: Epilepsy Genetics
I have a background in biochemistry and molecular biology, and a PhD in medical genetics. My research focuses on disease mechanisms in a rare epilepsy syndrome, EPM1. I use molecular and metabolomic approaches to uncover how genetic changes lead to cellular and metabolic disturbances in the brain, aiming to link basic findings to improved diagnostics and therapies.
